- Large Mouth Bass -
    Bass Have been found in 2 - 16 ft. around docks, rocks and brush piles. They have been shallow early mornings / and late evenings, and deeper in the afternoon. Your green pumpkin and watermelon color soft plastics are affective Texas ridged and Carolina ridged. Silver, chartreuse Rat-L-Traps are still catching some fish. Small Crank Baits are working well.
On our trips we are averaging 3 - 4 pounds per fish, with some fish to 8+ pounds.

- Crappie -
   Crappie fishing has been very good with numbers being caught in 6 - 18 ft of water. On our trips the fish are averaging 11 - 13 inches with some very nice fish up to 15 1/2 inches. You can expect to find fish around brush piles and the F.M. 1097 bridge. Crappie have been good on minnows, and bright color jigs.

- White Bass & Hybrid/Striped -
   
The shad are still coming up to the bulkheads and into the creaks right at sun up, can expect to find the fish here in the morning and then out deeper late morning through after noon. Live shad and Rat-L-Traps are working well shallow. Deep diving crank baits and drifting live shad are working great in after noon hours. Average Hybrid 4 - 7 or 8 pounds.

- Catfish -
    Catfish can still be found on beds along the bulkheads and shallow banks. Bait of choice is chicken liver, stink bait, shad, and minnows. Look for big blues along creek channels and ditches 3 - 25 Ft. Average channel about 6 pounds, average blue to 6 - 9 pounds.
